Wild horse jasper is a semiprecious stone, also known as Wild Horse Magnesite, that's named for its spotted, dappled appearance, resembling wild horses. It's a mixture of magnesite and hematite (an iron mineral), which gives it an earthy, brown and white color. While it's often called Wild Horse Jasper, it's technically magnesite and not a true jasper.
