White Buffalo Turquoise comes exclusively from the Dry Creek Mine near Tonopah, Nevada, mined by the Otteson family, but it's not true turquoise; it's a white magnesite/calcite/quartz mix with black chert matrix, named for its rarity and purity, like a white buffalo, and mined in the same areas as traditional turquoise.
