Moroccan seam agates from the Atlas Mountains were first described in the 1940s but only recently have they drawn the interest of collectors worldwide. The specimens are commonly white-gray, blue-gray, red-gray, and brown-gray.

Crystal is 24 percent or more lead content. When looking for valuable crystal, you should look for clarity, a silvery haze or tone, and that it catches the light.
