Black pearls are highly coveted, exotic gems. While commonly called "black," they usually feature rich charcoal, silver, or peacock overtones of green, blue, and purple. They generally range in size from 8mm to 12mm and are primarily sourced from the black-lipped oyster in French Polynesia (Tahitian pearls).
